A new year comes with new benefits! In 2022, we’re proud to roll out several new benefits to our employees, including a $5,000 annual subsidy for infertility benefits and a personalized care program for people to take control of their health through the analysis of their gut microbiome.
 
We are also keeping continuity in all current benefits offered, including medical (PPO, HMO, and HDHP plans), dental, vision, and all ancillaries. Mythic covers 100% and 70% of premiums for employees and dependents, respectively. All full-time employees (30 hours per week or more) are eligible.

Virtual happy hour and mixology course

On December 10, Mythic hosted a virtual mixology course. During the event, the personal mixologist walked the team through the steps of making two versions of a classic favorite cocktail – the mint julep! In between enjoying drinks, participants engaged in some friendly competition by testing their knowledge with a happy hour trivia.

 

Secret Santa exchange

This year, we engaged in our first Secret Santa gift exchange! Those that opted in were matched with a recipient and were able to secretly choose items and mail them directly to their giftee. Everyone enjoyed opening their presents!!

 

Post-holiday card

Mythic also organized a volunteer event this holiday season to send seasonal cards to residents in senior living communities around the world. Everyone worked hard to craft a customized card and message and then the cards were virtually delivered to the recipients just in time for the holidays.

Second Harvest food bank donations

Additionally, in 2021, we partnered with Silicon Valley Second Harvest Food Bank, committing a donation match up to $2,500.00 USD.  When we announced this initiative to our employees they immediately took action and within 48 hours, we had already blown through this initial goal!

Because of that, we doubled our goal to an ambitious $5,000 instead. We’re so proud of all of our employees that chipped in to help get us to this goal – we ended up hitting the $5,000 target and the company was happy to up its own contributions to match this impressive figure. In total, Mythic contributed $10,000 to the Second Harvest Food Bank this year, which is enough to provide 20,000 meals to those in need!  We are so proud of our team for pitching in and helping our local community.
